Applications
- Main remote control and remote transmission cable, installed in multi-tubular sheaths, under roads or pavements, along DC-electrified lines up to 1500V
- For "rail" or "tyre" tram lines at dedicated sites
General characteristics
Cable interior
- Red copper solid core - Diameter 10/10 or 12/10
- Insulation: coloured polyethylene
- 4-wire wiring except in 4 pairs (twisted pair wiring)
- Shielding by aluminium tape with continuity wire
Protection
- Polyethylene water-blocking internal sheath
- Armour by corrugated steel tape, longitudinally laid, with overlap, or by 2 spiral strips with joint
- High density polyethylene outer jacket + marking + metric
Mechanical
- Operating temperature: 60°C
- Resistant to mineral oils, acids and bases
- Resistant to UV, weather, low temperatures
- Resistant to damage and cracking
- Bending radius:
- Static: 10 x D,
- Dynamic: 20 x D
- Excellent friction coefficient adapted to pulling through conduits
