The INCA Technical Innovation Award honors outstanding achievements in the Telecom industry. ACOME’s nanomodule was selected for its unique design allowing immediate financial and time-savings advantages and significantly reducing the carbon footprint of fibre deployment.

Judges of the INCA Awards agreed that our Nanomodule ULW cable, designed to address the specific pain points of British operators, stood head and shoulders above the rest as the innovation that had proved most crucial in the last year in supporting the delivery of ground-breaking work in the Altnet sector.

1 year ago, during Connected Britain 2022, ACOME presented a new innovative technology: the Nanomodule. This technology then made it possible to accommodate 72 250µm optical fibres in a modularity of 12 fibres in a 7mm diameter ULW aerial cable, thus breaking a glass ceiling for aerial ranges in the UK.
